These photos show the exterior R-9 Zip sheathing installed and the cement fiber siding beginning to be installed.  The interior photo shows the open cell foam insulation in the cathedral ceiling in the Living Room and the large, triple pane, lift and slide doors that stack up to the right to create a 12 ft opening. The 2nd photo shows the 2ndfloor bridge that connects the 2 bedroom wings.

Griswold, CT Net-Zero Home Also Under Construction

This house is on 20 acres in Griswold Ct and was designed to be net-zero. It will  have double wall construction and use  high performance windows. The HVAC  and hot water systems will be supplied by heat pumps that are in turn supplied by solar PV
